It's one thing when there are no kids involved, then who really cares as long as there's no abuse. But when kids are involved I thik mothers need to think of what's best for the kids. Both of my sisters keep getting back with their kid's father,even though neither one of them are not doing **** for the kids. One father hasn't see his 2 year old daughter in guess what? 2 years. The other sister's boyfriend,well his kids see him all the time,with other women,never going to work because he can't keep a jobs to support his kids.He comes and gets them maybe once a month for 2 hours. Both men have lame excuses as to why they can't be real men. This just breaks my heart. There's nothing I can do, and I know it's partly my sister's fault because they both allow these men to do this.Why do some women allow this? My mom raised us never to take sh*t in a relationship,and to always put the kids first, so what the hell is up with my sisters? I'm not perfect,but if I had kids they would come 1st!

It's a sad situation but other than to tell your sisters how you feel and that you are there for them, your hands are tied. You can't make anyone do anything.
This type of guy will belittle a woman, make her feel that they are her God, that she is unworthy, useless, and won't ever find anyone who will love her. They'll strip her of all self-esteem and actually make her afraid of "loosing him".
Please don't lower her esteem any more by telling her she's dumb or stupid for staying in this situation. Just be there for her, that's all you can do. Good luck!! :)

Wow...I agree with you wholeheartedly.....it could be that they have no confidence in themselves and they think that they can't do better because these men tell them they are worthless and when your told these things repeatedly you start believing in them and I hope both your sisters can give these deadbeats the boot.And it's nice to see that you have a lot of maturity to see these things and choose to never go there....good 4 u
