The mail business has slowed down because most of us are using the Internet rather than regular mail. By doing this, they don't have as many employees as they did before which would cause the mail to run slower.

Well, it's like this: The news media has reported about the tainted dog food. They didn't tell you about tainted horse food. The pony express has suffered a severe decline due to the sorrowful death of thousands of horses. This has resulted in a dearth of horses to deliver the mail. So, now they walk it over the border with Mexican laborers. That's a fact.

Living on the border in Port Huron MIchigan like I do and hearing daily on the radio and in the paper how there are always delays on the bridge to and from well, gee. For me, its a no brainer.

I have no idea..was wondering the same myself..took two weeks to get a letter from Ontario...but my Canadian friends told me it was because the sled dogs went on strike.

It's their job - and since 9/11 they are being cautious ..
You can call the USPS a lot of things ; but expedient has never been one of them .
