Bush, Cheney, Rummy, Wolfy, Ashcroft, etc. came up with terror alert warnings, the constant ranting about "fight them there, or we'll be fighting them in our back yards" and other BS scare tactics. Remember the run on duct tape?
Isn't that getting just a little tired? If they're so competent and smart, why hasn't this "threat" been taken care of?

Read 1984, the part about society always being at war.
That's what Wolfy and his ilk aim for.

We cannot fight this war the way other wars have been fought.
we carpet bombed Germany and Japan during WWII to turn the people against the people that were leading them in the war. Finally the people ousted the rulers and the war ended.
If we fought this war like WWII, people like you would be screaming that we are Facist and Nazis.
Oh wait yall already do.

Fear is sometimes the reality. Did you not see the Towers fall? I was unfortunate enough to be working as a cop when the Murray Building was exploded.
Terrorism is real and must be defeated.
Burying your head in the sand ala South Park is hardly the answer.

Because its effective. Fear motivates people, and at the same time makes them easy to control.
Politicians have known that for centuries.

Using fear is not new in keeping the people in line, look around, the advertising corporates always use fear to sell their products, whatever products they may be. Politics is no different.

I agree with your political views, but calling anyone a fascist isn't going to get you anywhere.

There is an old Arab saying, "It is not how many you kill but how many you scare". After we have killed enough of the enemy, the treat could be taken care of. I am on the side of the US, which side are you on?
