This year it was two Saturdays ago. They hoped it would save on electricity by changing the time three weeks early. We also change time in the fall again. What week depends on if they see energy savings from the spring's early change. We always use the phrase "spring ahead, fall back" so we know to add or subtract an hour.

In 2005 our law makers were bored, so they spent our tax dollars figuring out when time should change and vote it into law.
The time change beginning this year 2007 began on March 11th and will change again November 4.

Yes, this "ritual" is such a cocophaneous idea (trying to "save" time!)
This year (2007) we moved foreward in the middle of MARCH! It's simply a CONGRESSIONAL thing. (Who ever reasoned anything LOGICAL could ever come out of Congress? - This is exactly a situation where the proof is in the puttin'.)
For those of us in either Arizona or Hawaii, rest easy for this has no effect on you. - Eh-heh... if *the rest of the world* could live so simply.

Not this year--they did it early, I believe it was March 11th. I understand that they will not change the clocks back until later than normal starting this year, too.

Daylight savings time happened a long time ago. Change all of your clocks ahead an hour as soon as you can.
