Ive never been in a hex bed so in a regular tanning bed turn your hips to the side trying to keep your face upward and rotate from left to right (with legs bent as if you were running) it works for me

If there is not a tanning booth in your area (where you stand up instead of laying down) then you're gonna have to change positions once in a while to get an all-over tan. Have you tried laying with your arms outstretched over your head? And sometimes, you will need to roll to one side, then the other, to get tan on your sides.

Don't! Tanning beds are both foolish and childish to say nothing of the danger. Don't even think about it.
