I'm 14 now but how can i get better at finding bigger words i'd use in normal every day life. I still use slangy original words but i'd like to know please, what sources can i find from?

read lots of books. when you find a word that you don't understand, look it up.

You might try to underline and so learn by heart the beautiful sentences in those books that you like a lot. You might try to learn favorite poems by heart and so also compose beautiful poems on your own.

You might try to write more and better essays (themes) on your own, in addition to your school assignments. You might try to translate from and into a foreign language that you have learned or that you want to learn.

The way for you to improve may just be reading and reading, writing and writing, learning by heart, speaking intelligently, writing speeches.

It's somewhat in the style of swimming. You learn to swim better by swimming more and more, by participating in swimming races, ...

Read more often and read a wider variety of books. If you come across a word you don't know, look it up. Go on www.dictionary.com, or another website where they have a "Word of the Day", learn it and try to use it.

When you read a book and you find words that you doen't know look them up and then try using them.

A good book to use would be "The Scarlet Letter"
