Tell me what you saw and what you think it was. Have any of you seen a ufo? Tell me your stories. I want to know about o'Hare first!!! What happend?

Well there was a flying object at o'hare airport. It was a round shaped disk. It was hovering over the airport and then it shot straight up leaving a hole in the clouds. Pilots saw it and so did baggage handlers!
Yeah what kind of helicopter or airplane does that? Smartasses!!!
Anyway did anyone see it.. You ppl that say it was a helicopter or plane should go read about the incident!

Since it was near an airport, what makes me think it was a plane or a helicopter ? To commenton D H's statement, there is no dark side of the moon except in the CD racks under Pink Floyd. . It rotates once a month so the whole moon gets illuminated at one time or another.

Not o'hare....my own personal sighting (I've seen 2, but it's too hard to describe the 2nd), so the first was about 1970ish....(both sightings in Virginia--60 miles from Greensboro, NC airport & 60 miles from Roanoke, VA airport.)
So the 1970ish first sighting (about 35 years ago)--my family & all the neighbors used to sit out on our porches on hot summer nights to cool off a bit before going in to bed.
That night, it was the usual, just piddling around, then I remember someone made a loud noise & I looked up & many across the street were pointing up. I looked & it was at the top of the telephone pole--huge (but smaller than a blimp), dark, grayish, different colored windows with shadowy shapes behind them. It just sat there SILENT. I don't remember anyone moving, talking or any noise. I walked out to the sidewalk & that's all I remember.
Only ever thought about it once or twice a year.
Finally, 10 years ago, back in the old 'hood.....ran into by old best friend from the hood. Inexplicably we looked at each other, pointed at the spot, & just about choked on our incredulousness that we had been best friends together every day for 12 years, both saw it, yet neither had ever mentioned it to the other until 25-30 years had passed. Strange.
From her vantage point, directly under the ship, she saw what she assumed was the power source--red,orange, moving like molten lava, with something going around & around, like stirring it. She remembered the scariest thing was that it made NO noise & when it left, it just shot almost straight up in an instant, was a pinprick in the sky, then GONE.
I B-E-L-I-E-V-E. For Sure. I KNOW what we saw. Have had that image in my mind for all these years & finally had it confirmed.

first let me say i know this sounds crazy and impossible but i assure you it's true. if you want to see a ufo, buy a telescope and look at the moon. there is a base on the dark side of the moon, verified by nasa employees (of course you won't find this on the web) if you look long enough, and it may take days, you might see one flying from the dark side crossing the lighted side on it's journey to wherever it's going. i have heard recently that the base was discovered in the sixties and there is some doubt as to whether or not it is operational still. again i know it's crazy but it's very true, google the disclosure project and learn more...
and sorry but i did not see the one at o'hare

can't resist.. but this is to living
there are many conspiracies to the dark side of the moon. a reason y the dark side was never photographed is b/c of a huge swastika sign. it's rumored that during ww2, the nazi's had a base on the moon...
btw, u shoouldn't dismiss this theory too quickly. there are probably many witnesses, including pilots. yes, they can make mistakes sometimes, but you should think again before turning down a professional observation
