Louse is singular. The plural for louse is lice or louses.
(note: louse commonly suggests, a small insect that lives as a parasite on animals or plants. Louses [pl., slang] can also mean contemptibility in people. 'Louse up' is slang for to make a bungle of.)

Just one of the many vagaries of the English language. Even with louse. If you're speaking of the insect, the plural is lice; if you're speaking of a group of really rotten guys, it's louses.
