My Son told me yesterday (after I chewed him out for going into the street) that I was a mean mommy and I should pack up his stuff so he can find a new one..
I was heartbroken, until I realized he was behind his little chair LAUGHING HIS BUTT OFF! Such a little smart A $ $..... wonder where he got that?

You can't let this get to you. They will say stuff like all the time. They may even say "I hate you!". Then sometimes they will appear to favor one parent over the other. They go through all kinds of phases. Don't take it personally, they'd go crazy with out you. They trust you and feel secure enough with you that they can act out and be mean. The stuff they say as teenagers hurts more, because you'd think they'd know better by then.

When I was in preschool, man those kids were cruel.
Maybe she was jealous of her sister getting some "daddy time". Perhaps you could think of a fun activity that you two could to together?

Oh yes, my son many times (he's almost 3). But he does that to everyone in the family. Kids are funny that way. Don't take it personally :)

Awww...I have seven nephews...take a guess, if you could see the scars in my heart you'd think Dr. Frankestein was involved.

Sure, my daughter tells me all the time when she's mad that I'm the worst mother she's ever had. Hands on hips and yuckyface. I just laugh. It's payback for how we treated our own Moms, right?

My kids used to do that to my husband frequently. Hurt his feelings all the time.
