1. You feel better inside by being nice to people than by being important by being horrible. It's a personal guilt thing, like you can't buy happiness sort of idea.
2. It's referring to mankind's destruction of himself:
Unnecessary risks, smoking, drinking, fossil fuels etc.
3. I suppose you can't keep level headed in a debate if you keep getting hungry - but I haven't had that experience!
4. Opinion thing - I would say Ministry of Sound Dance Nation 2006; it screams Photoshop layer styles.
5. James Bond.
6. Boys: Anthony Horowitz: Raven's Gate, and Alex Rider series. Girls: Got no idea!
7. When you look inside yourself, and you sigh with a big smile on your face, because everything's just super.
8. Never heard that one.
9. If you're overconfident, you'll get complacent.
10. The only thing that matters is to win - if you believe in 10.
11. No idea, not well versed in Indian directors.
12. Achieving. The path's nothing if you don't follow it.
13. Participating in my opinion.
14. Rising; new day, and all that.
15. Because if you keep practising the same thing, you won't learn anything new.
16. Mind, noting the category this is in.
17. Compliments which mean nothing and playing 'the game' - the stomach doesn't work like for men.
By the way, this should have been in Philosophy.
Hope that helps,

1. Would YOU rather be around someone who is "important" or someone who is nice to you?
2. That simply means that we have the dubious capability of doing more damage to ourselves than anyone or anything else can do to us.
3. People who are unsatisfied and/or in need are less likely to make rational decisions.
4. I have NO idea.
5. I have not read enough spy novels to make such a decision.
6. Not knowing what books there are available for children "out there" right now, I couldn't say.
7. Happiness is the condition of enjoying your life and the experiences it brings you.
8. My spiritual philosophy does not acknowledge the existance of "heaven" or "hell". According to my beliefs, when a person reaches the "afterlife' he/she will be surrounded by those conditions of existance that are most compatible with the vibratory frequencies of his/her energy field. A positive person will have positive experiences and a negative person will attract negative experiences, this effect is probably the basis behind the popular concepts of "heaven" and "Hell".
9. The very term "over" implies something that has been carried too far. In the case of ambition, it usually denotes a careless lack of consideration of the effects of that ambition on others.
10. I cannot say I necessarily agree with that, but many people DO take that viewpoint. Here's something to think about: In one of his last years - maybe THE last year, I am not sure - of racing in the NASCAR circuit, Richard Petty never won a single race, but came in second, consistently, most of the time. At the end of the season, he was the season's winner in points. Those who had won occasionally and finished way back in the pack at other times didn't measure up.
11. I haven't the foggiest notion.
12. It depends on what you are trying to do. Sometimes we can veer off the path and find something better than what we were originally headed for, and sometimes not. One thing IS certain, if you aim at the mark and fall short, the higher you originally aimed, the higher your missed shot will land.
13. Well, I'd have to say "participating", because you can participate even if you don't win, but you cannot win unless you participate.
14. Whichever one you are looking at, BOTH have the potential for great beauty!
15. Well, I suppose THAT depends on WHAT it is that he's practicing.
16. It is in ATTITUDE. Person "A" hated life and lived all her adult life with a "death wish", and she was totally white haired and incredibly wrinkled by the time she hit her mid-40s. Person "B", on the other hand, exercises as high an exchange rate with life as she can. She gives as much to it and accepts as much from it as she can. She is 62 and most people say she looks like mid-to-late 40's. (I love it when I get challenged over asking for a senior discount at theaters and fast-food places!)
17. I can't speak for other women, but the way to MINE is sensitivity, thoughtfullness, consideration and a strong adherence to the "Golden Rule"

3. Being hungry can put you in a bad mood or make you dizzy, as in lightheaded, as in stupid. I dunno.
4. Copeland's 'In Motion.' It looks cool and it's black-and-white.
5. I hate spy novels.
6. Goodnight Moon, The Littlest Angel, Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, and The Crocodile Book. (Hehe, I just named those off the top of my head.)

8. Dunno.
9. Because you never reach super-high standards, and it results in unhappiness (the feeling of being unhappy.)
10. Because it isn't.
11. I have no idea.
12. Those are two totally different things. One is doing something, the other is just a random string of nouns and prepositions. You can't compare them.
13. Participating--that is if you LIKE what you're participating in.
14. Depends on the person. I personally like a rising sun.
15. Only God can be perfect, as a certain Southern Baptist might say.
16. Well if we grow then obviously there are ages, which are actually only numbers. So both.
17. Not being a jacka**.

These are not questions you ask, these are questions you think about. Some of them are obvious and I'm shocked that you can't answer them yourself. Others only become answered over time. Others are not answerable. Stop trying to learn about life through sayings and rules, and just live.
