I really do feel let down by pres bush, I was so impressed with him after 9/11 i think he showed strong leadership during that time and i was happy that he did something about that (going to war against Afghanistan) so quickly and i felt safer after that horrible time. Then came Iraq, and i tried to see his point and understand his reasoning for going to war. After the realization of no WMDs i just couldn't help but feel that he used the American people and their fear and trust to get even with Hussein for one upping his father and he was in a position to do something about that.

Being placed in the highest Public Office would be a strenuous responsibility for anyone, what-ever your Political views are. George W. Bush is a good President. Yes, He jumped the media gun a couple of times, but I believe that any President who chooses to pray before each meeting to insure a sound decision is great. Could you see Miss Monica's 'lover' ever do such a thing? Hillary couldn't allow it !! The mere thought of her being in the Oval Office has given me nightmares as to what will become of our Great Country !! God will Continue to Bless America !!

Yes, overall he has done a good job to answer your question. But, President Bush has made one serious mistake that matters to me. I wish he would push to fight the war in Iraq the way a war should be fought. The individuals that our men/women are fighting with overseas are cutting our soldiers throats while their still alive and filming it (Muhammad's order in the Koran, snipe the infidels and Jews at the neck)- yeah, religion of peace. We need to forget about the "politically correct, liberal B.S." and kill those who are trying to kill us by any means necessary. You cannot win a war on terror by negotiating with terrorists, you win a war on terror by killing terrorists. President Bush has let political correctness keep him from allowing our great military leaders to go all out and get the job done so our troops can come home after a victory.

I do not feel President Bush has failed. I think 911 transformed President Bush into a different President then the guy who we voted for in 2000.
I do feel he and his administration has tried to be too politically correct after 911 and concerned more with the media/dems then doing what is best.
That is the reason for the problems in Iraq.

I was downright devastated with disappointment when Bush asked the federal courts for an injunction to stop the re-counts in Florida.
First of all, he wasn't my favorite choice to be the Republican nominee in 2000. I strongly wished that we had nominated someone better. Early in 2000 I wanted Orrin Hatch to be the nominee, but he dropped out of the race right after Iowa. Bush seemed to get the Republican nomination by matter of inheritance rather than by earning it.
But I voted for him anyway, clining to the hope that he would appoint the right kind of people to the Supreme Court. Or maybe -- in that "lesser of two evils" way of thinking -- out of fear that Gore's nominees to the Court would be worse than Bush's.
But when Bush ended up arguing, to federal courts, that Florida's system for re-counting ballots was unconstitutional, I was completely devastated.

I feel that he has done a decent job. There is room to improve, but he has to have support of everyone and not all Presidents are perfect.

Bush's greatest failure replaced into his loss of communique for the duration of the Iraq conflict purely purely before the Surge. He additionally did not be the Conservative the backside had hopes for while he replaced into elected. There had not been a Congressional Majority and a Republican president in 50 years or so till Bush. that they had the prospect to not in basic terms decrease taxes, yet decrease government spending. instead, spending sky rocketed and Republicans started spending funds like John Edwards in a attractiveness parlor. the biggest strengthen in training spending in background. Rx drug plans. foreign places help courses. First president to spend Federal tax funds on embryonic stem cellular analyze courses. and so on... His conflict on terror rules have been a fulfillment. finally, Bush's presidency is a failure in governmental spending. that is why the Republican votes did not prove to vote in 2006. i think it replaced into Bush's management and his "Compassionate Conservative" recommendations that have been the project. Had Bush been a real conservative, with real spending conrol desires, the Republicans interior the abode and Senate might have accompanied healthful. instead the social gathering replaced into lead off course be wanting to be enjoyed via the left. Letting Liberal write spending rules, like Kennedy's No baby Left in the back of Act replaced right into a mistake in attempting to "get alongside." What i come across hysterical are Democrats complaining concerning to the spending then complaining its under no circumstances sufficient being spent. McCain is (for all that he's not) a steward of government extra. He has spent maximum of his time interior the Senate pointing out government spending extra and purple meat initiatives. My best difficulty approximately McCain is that he feels the might desire to attain in the time of social gathering lines and compromise. There might desire to be no compomise on the subject of government spending. the government spends too plenty. It must be decreased and decreased in dramatic numbers.
