I know that all men are different. They have their individual opinions on what they like in a girl. But I hear that alot of men like "cute and sweet girls" then i hear that they like a girl "with attitude and wretched"...........I'm confused, which is better, to be nice or mean?

The way that the question is posed implies that your interest is not in being yourself, but in putting on a manipulative facade. OK, you probably interpret your position as being overwhelmed with others' expectations and having to respond the best you can. But the latter implies the former.
___When you're angry, say so, in a manner and degree that reflects how you're feeling. When you're happy, do the same, when you're indignant, the same. There are also some restrictions of acceptable behavior, like not whacking someone over the head with a stick when you're mad, and responding in a degree that reflects not only how you feel, but in a degree that is proportionate to the circumstance.
___If you're emotionally honest, without being emotionally self-indulgent or manipulative, men of good character will be comfortable with you. If not, you'll probably end up with your dishonest male counterpart.

Neither. The best thing is to be yourself. Act the way you ARE, not the way you think others want you to be. If you're the punkish girl than act that one. If you're the preppy kind of girl than act like that.

The best way to be is just yourself. Don't pretend to be someone you're not. There is too much deception in the world already. If he doesn't accept who you are then he isn't worth it anyway.

Why waste soooo much energy trying to be something that you're not. "Be yourself" sounds completely overused, but it's true. It's easier to be yourself and much better to be loved for what you are, not what someone thinks you are.
