Coaxial cables carry Radio Frequency?
Telephone line carry analog signal?

Is telephone lines made up of pair of copper wires?
Is Coaxial cable and copper wires are two different thing? or they mean the same thing? Then what is this word mean "copper coaxial cable"?

Thanks a lot for your time, really hoping for some explanation....

Co-ax is used for RF - Yes
Telephone lines carry Analog Signal - Yes (but can also be digital!)

Telephone lines are made up of copper pairs.

Coax and copper wires are different in the manufacture and way that information ise sent down them. Copper wires work in pair and (as you say) are usually used for telecom type environments.

Co-ax Cable is also copper, but mainly consists of a single core (signal) cable and a braided (shielding) cable with a plastic spacer between them, this is designed to receive broadcasted RF signals.

So although Copper wires and Co-ax are both made from copper, it is the format and uses of the two media that differentiates them.

Any clearer?

Coax is stranded copper or aluminum wire wrapped around insulation, wrapped around a single center conductor copper wire.

Telephone or network cable is referred to as UTP, unshielded twisted pair cable. It's available in many varieties, and pair counts. The tighter the twists the more shielding provided by the pair, against another pair.

All cable can carry any signal, since all signals are a frequency, some are more apropos than others for certain applications.

UTP can carry analog or digital signals, but because of the lack of shielding coax is preferred for digital.

Telephone lines are made of 1, 2, or 4 pairs of copper wires, depending on the age and use, 1pair being the oldest, or category 1, and 4 pairs being the newer implementation consisting of category 3-6 (again based on the # of twists which determines the distance a signal can travel along it [attenuation, interference, etc.])

Copper coax cable is just that. The reason they specify copper is there is Aluminum coax cable, which is less known and used infrequently.

So in a nutshell coax means 2 axial - 1wrap of wire around a shield around another wire. UTP is unshielded (but can be purchased as STP shielded twisted pair, again rarer) twisted pairs.

Hope that helps a bit.

Co Axial cable is one conductor insulated inside another, Like your TV aerial cable

Copper is a term used to mean NOT fibre optic cable

Telephone cable is a single pair of wires running to your house from the pole but is also a cable which has many pairs of wires twisted together to carry many signals at the same time in a plastic sleeve
