"Belting it out" - Singing loudly, pushing it out from the abdomen rather than the throat, usually with passion.

Ever watch "Sister Act"? Remember the petite little one that sung in a whisper nobody could hear till all of a sudden one day she sang loud and strong and surprised everyone, especially herself, with her lovely voice? She learned to 'belt' it ;)

To project you voice out loud enough to fill the room. Singing from the abdomen not the throat

It means you're singing very loudly. You are also singing correctly as they teach in voice lessons; singing from the diaphragm to project your voice to the extremities of the room in which you are singing.

It means to really reach deep down into your diaphram and sing it out. Thank you and good luck.

Use your diaphragm, and give it some gusto.
You'll sound like an opera singer.
