First you must enlist the help of a friend, one of those who expect too much from you would be perfect, but they are usually too selfish to help anyone but themselves, actually, you'll probably need two people, since your going to have to precariously balance this candle at the very center, horizontally of course, while lighting both ends, then, just say screw it, and once you've managed to find a non child proof lighter, light each end yourself. Now, you can get really crafty with some drip plates, and balance this candle, (dead center of course) on perhaps a candle stick holder. I would think the number of candles you could burn at both ends with this kind of creativity would be near limitless. You could have them all over your house ( be sure to keep all drafts at bay however, you wouldn't want any ends burning out on you)

I've always wondered how that one works. How can you go out and be having a wild time burning the candle at both ends when you've clearly got to hold it all night because it won't stand up without burning the place to the ground??

if you start from the top and let it burn all the way down completely until the wick has turned to ashes have you literally just BURNED the candle at both ends? if that isn't satisfying i say get a flame thrower, ignite the whole candle in a fury of flame. then you can say "the best place being is....every where...oh yeah.."

That's up to you. Some burn them at both, some just the one and some at the middle.
I personally use a flame thrower on my candles.

I think not as I always seem to start melting from the middle outwards long before the ends start burning down!

In a pub/nightclub, then up all night partying. No sleep, work at 9am, straight to pub at 5.30, then nightclub...that's where to start.
