My baby is 6.5 months old and I breastfeed him in the morning, he drinks 14 oz of pumped milk while i'm at work and I breastfeed him at least once in the evening. If I was to put a total gauge on onces...my guess would be somewhere around 24 ounces.
He also gets 7 TBSP of cereal and 3.5 ounces of fruit/veg a day.

Well that's hard to say, really. Because all babies are different.
Here is a calculator for use in calculating how much milk mom needs to pump for baby while she is at work.

However I can not stress enough that breastmilk from the breast is always best. Obviously that is not always possible. But every effort should be made to have the baby suckle at least part time.

They need about 24 ounces a day to meet their daily requirements of vitamins and minerals. If you are feeding her cereal mixed with formula, don't forget to add in those ounces too. If she gets more or less, don't worry too much. Just watch over a week and make sure it averages out to close to 24 oz/day. As long as she's healthy and gaining weight, you shouldn't have to worry.
Check with your doctor too, to make sure she doesn't have any special requirements.

I read that a 6 moth old needs 1 1/2 litre per day. I unfortunately don't know how to convert that. As for how many feedings, let her tell you what she needs.

i know there are set guidlines... but each child is different. Mine was drinking 4 ounces every 4 hours.. when they say she should drink 6 oz.... she still only drinks 5 ounces and shes 1... let your baby tell you what she needs.

I actually just spoke to my peds Dr about this because my dtr is also 6 months and started cereal and her amount of formula and breast milk decreased, she said no less then 16 oz a day. That is combined with the breast milk, formula, and the formula I mix with her cereal. hope that helps.

Well I'm 39 and I drink a quart a day. So I would say 1/2 a pint should do.

They will drink as much as they want until they are full. If they drink excessive amounts though, it may be time to offer jar food or cereal as well.

Depends on how often he gets "real" food, or does he strictly breastfeed. All in all, however much he wants. Babies will stop when they're full.
