Every few days the time on my monitor falls back 7 hours, without me changing it. Does anyone know why this happens, it has been doing it for about a month now.

The BIOS battery has gone. Its a watch looking battery inside the PC change it and it should be ok

Now to earn my 2 points: your computer is under a spell made by the Witch of the North drop a house on her head as well and that should resolve the issue
P.S. be aware of the flying monkeys

Has your time zone somehow got changed? Double click the clock and make sure the time zone you have selected is correct for your loaction. If it's wrong then when Windows connects to the time servers you clock will be re-set to the time in that zone.

Your computer BIOS/CMOS battery needs replacement.
See your computer manual or website on how to change it.

You may need to update because your computer didn't change with the daylight savings time.
