I'm not gonna endorse one program o'er another, cuz I don't know what your drivin'{PC}.

I'm not very computer savvy, but I am cheap!

I would look at/ask different geeks {meant in nice envious way} and do a LOT of Google research.

I have a Dell, Windows XP and I use a combo of security, cuz I have teens on PC's. I don't want to name them, as it may assist losers to hack me and I use various 'Parent Watch' software. There are always new patches & updates, so I feel confident it stays current.

Good luck!

You need Outpost Firewall Pro. Using the Plugins section you can define websites to deny access to, and it works. And they have a malicious website filter as well that allows you to enter a list of websites to ignore. There is a place out there that maintains a list for use with Outpost Pro just for this reason, so you can just plop it in place and almost never worry about where you surf anymore.

strongly recommend NetDog : http://www.netdogsoft.com
it can work with all kinds of web browsers, just add the website to "Always blocked website list" in NetDogAdmin.exe
