they dont have to be designed to where u can actually play them. i just need ideas of homemade instruments. thank you :)

toilet paper roll kazoos
toilet paper roll (or paper towel/wrapping paper rolls)
rubber bands
waxed paper
cut a piece of waxed paper large enough to fit over the end of the tube with excess hanging over. Put rubberband on tight enough to hold the waxed paper on and hum in the opposite end.
Oatmeal box drums
almost any box will do, really
it can be decorated or just tapped as is.
Whatever those oriental shaker thingys are called...
a stick or straw
string
masking tape
2 cardboard cirlces (cut smaller than a CD, larger than a 1/2 dollar)
2 corks or pencil erasers
scrap cardboard squares (size of a dime or so)
Make a small stack of scrap cardboard (not thicker than the masking tape. Place between the two cardboard cirlces. Put one end of stick between the circles. Carefully tape both circles together. Attach string to corks or erasers (a threaded needle would work best) and tape to each side of the circles. Roll the stick between both palms and it will cause the corks (or erasers) to thump the circles.

I did a Yahoo web search for ' homemade instruments out of cardboard'. Too many sites came up to list here. Do the same as I did and I'm sure you will find something to your liking.

Tissue box gutairs -Must be the kind that have the hole on the top only-
That a empty tissue box, leave the outside like it is or cover it is white paper and design it your self.
That out the plastice part around the top. Take a few rubber bands and stretch them across the hole. then take a paper towel roll for the top handle part. :D

MAKE A RAIN STICK OUT OF A PAPER TOWEL ROLL. place NAIL THROUGH IT AT VARIOUS PLACES. COVER ONE END. PUT BEANS, BBS , ROCKS AND OTHER SMALL OBJECT IN IT. COVER THE OTHER END. TURN IT FROM END TO END AND LISTEN TO THE SOUNDS OF THE OBJECTS FALLING THROUGH THE NAILS. IT IS GREAT.
ALSO SHAKERS ARE FUN TO MAKE. USE A TUNA CAN OR SOMETHING SMALL LIKE IT. ATTACH A HANDLE. FILL WITH BEANS OR PEBBLES. COVER THE OPEN SIDE AND SHAKE.
