I am always on the lookout for new music by female singers because my Dad likes listening to their music. It doesn't matter if they are undiscovered as long as they have a CD somewhere online to purchase (preferably Amazon.com or CDBaby.com). Some of my Dad's favorites are Leigh Nash, Dirtie Blonde, Mandy Moore, Alice Deejay, Hilary Duff, Natalie Imbruglia, No Doubt (but not Gwen Stephani's solo stuff) and Ashlee Simpson to name a few. What I'm looking for is a unique voice that is pleasing to the ears. He also likes techno stuff (as evidenced by listing Alice Deejay above). Any music you list will be appreciated but keep in mind his musical tastes.

Thanks!

These two ladies are awesome and totally different. Sade and Joss Stone. As to his musical taste I don't know some of the female singers listed, but these two ladies are the best. Sade's "Lover's Rock" is great or her "Greatest Hits" and Joss Stone is new over in the U.S. (she's from England) and I like "Mind, Body and Soul".
