Yes there are too many laws.. The prison can't hold everyone. I mean, if you lock everyone up for all these bogus crimes, who is going to be around to pay taxes so the prisons can hold them.. It doesn't make any sense

Yes they have us regulated from birth. Adults are restricted from any activity the government decides is "bad" for us. Even tho the governments own research says marijuana is less addictive than coffe we cant legally use it, Cant buy alcohol between 2 and 7am, have to have a license to drive, a plate for the car and tags on it too, cant marry someone we love if they are the same sex as ourselves, must give our children vaccinations, so many ways they intrude on our lives and even if a lot of this stuff is good -it should be a choice for adults not a law!!!

I don't consider myself an anarchist or nhilist, but I consider the government to have waaaaaaay too much control in our lives. Look at it this way, you're lucky to live 80 years on this planet. Depending on your religious beliefs, you may think you live only once on this earth...if that's so then why do we let some other man just like us tell us what to do. Why trust a government that is, as of right now, getting us into something we'll neeeever get out of: WAR ON TERROR! Look what we've gotten ourselves into! We're dealing with people who are willing to kill themselves to kill you...that's one tough enemy. We have enough nuclear weapons on this earth to destroy the planet 13 times!!! ... oh yea, and we don't even know where the majority of them are thanks to the Bush administration...but that's a different story. I'm just saying that I don't believe in any institution where one man thinks he's superior to me and has to right to ever tell me what to do. I'll live my life the way I want. **** the government! **** Bush!

Yes, they're overstepping their boundaries.

Our laws are supposed to safeguard our rights to life and liberty; the Constitution is the law of the land. I should be able to choose whether or not I want to wear a seatbelt, for example. I choose to do so because I'm safer. I strap my son into his booster seat to keep him safe.

(Note: Criminalizing abortion is not overstepping, because it's protecting the right of the unborn to live.)

The government is too involved in our lives, and has passed too many laws restricting too many activities.

The rule of law -- that there are limits to any activity -- is inherent and necessary for any functioning society.

It's just whether those laws are well-written or excessive.

You "ain't" seen nutin yet.. Just wait as time goes on, it will become more and more of an occurance and there is nothing that can be done about it.. The people THEMSELVES are bringing it ONTO themselves.
