What our government needs to understand is that Iraqi's have been fighting eachother for years, and their is nothing they can do about it. It's a waste of time, money and human life trying to "liberate" them.

That won't happen. The Sunnis hate the Shites and vice versa. The fact is if they would put a lid on fighting each other , maybe the U.S. would feel it was safe to start withdrawings troops.
But then there would still be the problems with the outside insurgents from Iran, Syria, etc.

Most Iraqis are for the U.S. It is the radical muslims that are the problem and as a mojority muslims are a peaceful people and are happy we are there.
