NOT ME,in case yall haven't noticed she ONLY got a title shot for posing for Playboy,and so did Candice Michelle,and Christy Hemme and to my recollection I think Chyna and Sable did too when they posed the only one who hasn't got a title shot for posing naked is Torrie Wilson but she's a crappy wrestler anyway so she dosen't count!Anyway I think if Ashley won it would be a disgrace to the women's division since she aint even that great a wrestler!And to think greats like Fabulous Moolah once held that belt!

On the plus side if Ashley won that means the title would go to Smackdown and I think theres some good talent over there such as Jillian Hall,Kristal Marshall,and Michelle McCool!

The difference between Ashley and Chyna is that Chyna was actually an accomplished wrestler and a force to be wreckoned with. Ashley is just a nude model.

Deserves? HA! She only got the title shot because she starred in Playboy. She has no wrestling talent, and she gets very cheap heat.
On the other hand, I've got to correct you about your other choices. For example, Chyna actually won the Intercontinental Championship and competed in the Royal Rumble and King of the Ring before she became Women's Champ. And both Candice Michelle and Christy Hemme at least attempted to become better wrestlers.

hey hey hey now. calm down jeez but I think Melina doesn't deserve to hold that title either. I mean all she does is talk junk and slap people ( like that's gonna do anythin ) and I think she's jealous of all of the WWE Playboy cover models. And another thing, she has no respect at all for the fans out there. She's not worthy of holding that belt. I think Ashley does way more than Melina ever will! She actually shows alot of respect for her fans and she represents who she is and alot of people admire that. That's like Trish Stratus and Mickie James and even Fabulous Moolah. They care about their fans and they worked hard to earn that belt and so does Ashley. But does Melina do that? NO! And if she did already then I guess I'm pretty blind then! Ashley should win that belt from her!

You seem to forget, barely anyone OUTSIDE wrestling's fanbase CARED about women's wrestling while Moolah was champ. All due respect to Moolah. By tradition, MOST women that can actually wrestle as well as any man werent exactly what was called "Playboy material". Women's wrestling, especially in the WWE has changed. At least Ashley is learning and has actually REALLY improved. She reminds me of a former fitness model turned wrestler. MOST people thought SHE had no right to the title, but by LEARNING the craft of wrestling and pushing her OWN limits we ended up with the woman MOST people rate up there with Moolah as the best female of her generation....Trish Stratus. Give Ashley the ball, she can hardly do worse than Melina.

Yes she posed for the Playboy and does she have great charisma, but she does NOT deserve the title that the most talented female wrestlers held in WWE history! She won the Divasearch of 2005, what else can we expect from her, NOTHING..She can't do it.. She can't.. She is like the female John Cena, getting all the spots and don't even work hard for those..

ok well i have nothing against ashley i mean im a fan of here and she is getting better but i dont see anything that has really stood out that she has done to deserve a title shot.. ever scince the playboy thing she is all miss popular but hey vince would have done tht for anyone.... i dont think she deserves it really but i mean what ever... i want her to beat melina though... mickie james and victoria should be in a triple threat wit melina for the title... what a match tht would be.. thts a match with the most deserving.... but think about it.. if ashley wins the easyer it wil be for mickie or victoria to take it!!! ya no? but melina is just such a brat.. but i do agree with melina that when u get ur hair pulled and punched in the face that it drives you and makes you want to kick there @$$ even more so thts the only thing ill ever agree with her about! but ya no i dont think ashley really deserves it but ashley is awsome.. i want mickie vs melina vs victoria!

No. She hasn't done enough in my opinion. I think the main reason they are giving her a title shot is because 1) She was a Diva Search winner and 2) because of her whole Playboy thing going on
If not for those two things, then she would've had to have beaten some tough competition one on one like Mickie james and Victoria, and I don't think she's ever beaten either one of them one on one.

Does it really matter now? Honestly, Vince is all about T&A...Right? He doesn't care if these "divas" have an ounce of athleticism. He wants these broads to do their thing and show off their assets. Honestly, their hasn't been a real women's division since the early 2000's.

I think ashely is a great wrestler way before playboy and she still a great wrestler but,I think that there should be more wrestling instead of exploting the diva's!(ashely couldn't have the womans chamionship because she's on smackdown she would have to change her contract.)

The only good divas left in this industry are Mickie, Melina, and victoria.
