Received this phone as upgrade in the mail and I can't even understand how to insert the battery. It says press button on the back (no problem) then it says slide the cover and lift it up but when youtry to lift it up it feels like it will break. Help...What do I do???

I pressed the button and tried sliding the cover but it seems to stop once the camera bit is open....Help!

What you need to do is press the button and slide down at the same time. It may be a bit stiff because its new, once its been open a couple times there will some play. You cant take the camera cover unless you take the whole battery cover off.

ive got one of those on a upgrade also and i know what you mean ;-)
i struggled to get the back off at first but it was just cos its so stiff, the only bit that comes off is the slider for the camera and the small bit underneath, its really thin though
hold the phone upside down and press the silver button in, when you have it pressed in, put slight pressure on the slidy bit and the bit where you pressed the button in, it should slide off towards the bottom of the phone ...... it wont lift off till you have slid it
its not just the slidy camera cover that slides the casing does underneath aswell
hope you understand this cos im confusing myself lol
took me ages to get my memory card in properly aswell
i still don't use half the stuff on the phone, why do they put all that on it lol
its an ok phone, some people rave about it but i dont like it as much as my old nokia

its just stiff, mine was like that when it was new, try and put a bit more pressure on it to slide (gently!!) but don't slide the camera thingy back, try sliding the bit where you press the button in

Press the button and slide backwards. If you are not happy with this phone you should send it back as it is quite a hard phone to get used to.

while pressing the button on the back,slide it down ward,not too hard,just apply the necessary pressure on the case to make it slide.don't touch the sliding thingy of the camera while doing this ok?!

send it back that phne is a brick!!!!
well u need to slide the batterie in!! it won't break!
