Oh I love this one. I work with a jerk who talks really loud all the time because he thinks it makes him seem authoritative and knowledgable and people will be impressed by what he has to say. All it makes him is obnoxious.
And, no, he's not hard of hearing. Which is the only legitimate reason for someone to talk out loud.
