explain to him that you find it very romantic when men shower their lady with gifts just out of love.

Nothing wrong with asking. Have you said the following to your husband: "The best way to demonstrate that you love me is to send flowers periodically"
If you haven't done that, then you are expecting him to read your mind. Or you are hinting.
Let me be blunt, clues usually don't work with guys. So if that's your technique, and it's not working, now you know why.
You could always perform his favor sex act when you get flowers. Let's say you are more stingy with oral than he likes. Start laying on the oral when you get flowers. Tell him, this is how I say thanks for the flowers and go down on him.
He'll get the message and put it together.
But there is nothing wrong with asking for what you want. What is wrong is NOT asking for what you want and growing resentful that you don't get what you want.
That's crazy, to resent not getting when you don't ask.

there are two ways you can do it one is tell a friend to tell your hubby to send you flower. or you can go a little be wilder. you send your hubby flower at his work and in the card put it must be nice to get flower from someone you love i wish i was loved like that? then hopefully in a week or to you will get your heart reward. by best friend had to do this to here hubby. now he send her flower ever 5-8 weeks.

Don't do anything extreme like buy a vase & buying your self flowers! That's just ridiculous....Just simply make a comment about how you love getting flowers, or how much you love them, kind of like hinting out to him....He should take the hint...I did just that to my bf, & sure enough the next week he suprized me with a dozen white roses...Aww, they were stunning! So Hun, make a comment & if he's a good man he'll get...

If you want nice things such as flowers from your husband, maybe you should ask yourself what you have gotten for your husband lately. If you're sitting there just waiting and not doing anything to prime the pump, you're probably going to be waiting a long time. Get him something he likes...tickets to a ball game, his favorite cologne, etc. Maybe he'll get the idea.

Buy a flower vass ! Infront of him tell to someone else that the flower vass is so empty ,U wish 2 get some flowers.

come home with a bunch of lovely flowers...don't tell him anything , just put them in a vase and look proud of them
when he'll ask u where u got them from, just tell him a friend gave them to u
he'll feel so jelaous!!

buy them yourself. or say i think some flowers would really brighten up this room. or make a staement to him saying i havent had any real flowers in al ong time, maybe ill go get some.

I can't even get them from my husband when I ask for them. I've come to accept that he's just not a romantic person.
