I have heard that it is true, and I have heard that it's just an old wives tale? Does anyone know for sure? I have heard that it will wrap the umbilicle cord around the babys head????

Lol, no this is definitely a wives tale. I know this one person who would constantly tell me not to bend at the waist for the same reason. I would get so pissed at him, because why would you tell me something so horrible? Do you want me walking around in a panic, thinking that every little move I make is going to harm or heaven forbid kill my baby? I think people are stupid when it comes to pregnant woman and if their opinion isn't asked for and they are not a doctor then they should keep their MOUTHS SHUT!
So no you are fine, raise your arms, bend at the waist, drive a car, work, walk, whatever you will be fine.
Take care and congrats.

Yes, it's true, right along with that sex is bad for the baby and that it can see you and your partner while you have it.

The answer is no to both of those. Don't believe in those wives tales.
