my laptop screen got smaller for some strange reason how do i resize it ?

i need help cause its smaller with a border around it please help ! =]

Go to control panel, double click on display. Click on the tab marked settings. Choose a lower resolution and the picture will get bigger.

Or go to control panel, choose "appearance and themes", "change the screen resolution", and choose a lower resolution (smaller numbers).
