How do i clean my suede sneakers?

Whats an easy way to clean them, my cousin says to use a toothbrush to clean them off. Is that the best way? I dont wanna have to buy anything, i wish to just clean them in my house right now.

good luck because there is this special gel you buy to clean it . it is totally safe

Remove surface dirt with a stiff-bristled brush, then rub with lemon juice, and leave in sun to dry.
