This question or rather a query for my Mormon friends. A group group you are, clean and pure from the get go. My god, you won't even touch Diet cola!
Anyway, I'm wondering if there are any areas of the United States that you know of that consider polygamy legal, or will at least "turn the other way" when you have multiple spouses?
Hypothetically, if I was a man married to a European women of slightly above average beauty, and had two children (one a genius, the other a real blah) and I met a Korean women who was threatening to expose my relationship with her to my peers unless we "committed" to each other, is there any state I could "marry" her in?
Also, if I do end up having a "marriage" ceremony, are there any notification laws that I would have to inform my real wife?

I don't think there is anyplace in America left, but there are plenty of places in South America where you can find true religious freedom. For all America proclaims you are free, that is not true. My father, a man of God, saved my brother and I from the woman who gave birth to us who would not let us be raised in true church by taking us to Venezuela until we were of age to refuse to return to her custody and he had three wives and no one gave him any trouble. They were our treu mothers. None of them were Asian, but one was Hispanic, and she was fine too.

Umm....I think you need to set your priorities in order. First, You married your wife: forsaking all others until death do you part. So you have already violated that vow. Second, You should not marry another woman while married to her. That is completely selfish to do that. I don't like threats, So I would just tell your wife and make a decision. Stay married to her or divorce her and marry the other woman. That is your only choice. What ever you do, Remember you wife deserves the chance to be happy too, either with you Or someone else who would appreciate her and be loyal! I am not saying she is perfect because I don't know either one of you but if your marriage is that bad you should just leave. And not be a coward and hide things you are ashamed of from your wife. Make a choice and stick with it. Grow up and be a man, And do you really think marrying this other woman will keep her from telling your peers. if someone has to threaten you to get what they want what else are you going to give to keep her quite. ever thought about that.

Not in the US. You're "real" wife, the one your married to currently is what any state in the US recognizes as your spouse. If you were to marry the Korean girl it would not be recognized by state or federal law. This is for estate purposes, etc. You can get married twice but unless you divorce the first one prior to marrying the second it's not a legal union.

huh...it's sounds like your in deep sh*t. I guess if you choose to carry on with the deceit, you could hire someone to carry out your ceremony, without ever signing the paperwork. A judge/pastor going through the ceremony doesn't legally make you married. You have to give your city/state/county 35 bucks or so and sign paperwork. Maybe since your girlfriend is Korean she might not know the legalities of marriage in the US, and you might be able to slip this one by...

Wow...that Korean temptress has got you...don't worry, your secret is safe with me, but whoa.
I don't think it is "kosher" in the U.S., but I would look into other countries...someone suggested South America- spot on. Utah may be lax however.
Otherwise, Asia works, and Russia- no-one really cares, unless they have to.
Nerms is a good woman though, but in traveling, I understand the temptation.
Well luck I guess, but not best of...

Sounds like you are being blackmailed! Best to just fess up now and deal with it before things get even more out of control. People end up murdering other people over this kind of stuff!
