People who are liars sometimes change and decide to begin telling the truth, but unless you see objective evidence as to WHY the liar decided to make a turnaround, you would probably be unwise to believe it. It is perfectly fair to reach a point with a liar where you tell him, "You may be telling the truth now, but whether or not you are is irrelevant, because you have used up all of your chances with me. I no longer trust you. Period." The fact that people can change themselves also means that YOU can choose to become less gullible!

From my experience it takes a Liar six months of not telling lies to get a out of jail free card.
However depending on the charge a second chance may not be warranted. They must be placed in liar jail and the key thrown away.

If someone is a liar, then they are a liar. If they are not a liar, then they are not a liar. Is that person a liar now? If not, then they are not a liar. Live in the present.

If that is true then every single person on this planet is a liar. Nobody had gone their entire life without telling a single lie. If they tell you they have, then they are lying.

Yes. My ex is a habitual liar. Just like a little boy, he thinks no one will catch him.

Some people lie a lot and then find out they are more successful in their personal lives when they are not lying. But I think once you realize how easy it is to lie, it's like dope, hard to give up.

it depends on the person. if they are willing to break the habit of lying, then they can change their habits but that is ultimatly only what they are changing. also, you need to consider the type of lie and how big or small it is.
