Haha we have some problems with that theory!

Wadlow was barely able to even run.

He had an extremely irregular heart beat because of the volume of blood needing to be pumped throughout his body.

He weighed 495 pounds

He was nowhere near as athletic or strong as shaq

Oh yea and hes been dead for a while now

Good creativity and GREAT question!

Maybe for a play or two. Wadlow would not have been able to run the floor. On top of that he was not athletic enough to avoid hurting himself out there, especially against Shaq. Size alone is not enough. At the highest level you need a high level of athleticism as well.

as big of a shaq fan i am not...in his prime, shaq was virtually unstoppable. the only thing that could stop him was himself. i.e. commiting stupid ticky tack fouls and not being motivated and outta shape.he would also get the calls on offense for bulldozing people to get tothe hole. itll take a lot more than height to stop shaq.

ive never heard of robert wadlow but if he is/was 8'11' i doubt he'd have the quickness not to get posterized by shaq.

I would have to say no, based on two reasons. Wadlow was 8'11", but he was also thin as a rail -- Shaq would overpower him.

My second reason -- Wadlow is dead.

No for the only reason that it is extremely virtually impossible to stop him by using your self. He certainly has the main suitable risk available. Oden is a huge participant and could, in a feeling, be inheritor to Shaq'a throne, yet he won't be in a position to stop him. Oden would be, even with the undeniable fact that, the main suitable center to return out in view that properly, Shaq.

If he was alive, yes. Robert Wadlow is a dead man my friend, and he never played ball.

it takes more then just height to stop a player from scoring. if this Robert guy doesn't have good defence he will be about as usless as a point guard guarding Shaq.

Yes. He'd be a BEAST in the paint. Would have 2 work hard on his footwork, because taller guys, aren't that great on their feet.
