Definatly Shaq he is like the Wilt Chamberlain of the new millennium no one could gurard him one on one back in his younger years. He makes teams better the Lakers were a great team when he was there then he left now the Lakers are lucky to make the playoffs. He goes to Miami where they were a horrible team they draft a good player and he makes that a chapionship team, not many players can do that.

Let's see. OK, Shaq has it good because for a man his size, nobody has been able to do the things he's done or change the nature of the game like he has. It takes about the entire starting five to hold him down.

Kobe's a good scoring threat. Nobody goes after a person's heart more like Kobe, but you have to look at all he's been through: rape charge, selfish play, colliding with Shaq. Although none of these should factor into his legacy (it's all about how you play on the court), somebody is going to make a beeline and try to put this in.

Tim Duncan. His game is so fundamentally sound that it's boring, but it is, nontheless, effective (hence the name, Big Fundamental). But he makes sure to include the team in everything. If he gets double teamed, he knows how to kick out to the open man. If he wasn't so good like he was, he wouldn't have won the NBA Finals MVP three times.

Dwyane Wade. While D-Wade is the flashiest and most explosive player in the NBA, one NBA Finals Series doesn't make you great or carve out a legacy right then and there. He still needs some more years under his belt and hopefully those years will include championships. He's great because although it is his team, he makes it a point to include his teammates and get it to Shaq when he needs to.

Kobe Bryant: I am not a big fan of Kobe Bryant because he is definitely not a team player. But this season he has definitely improved on that this season. Also he has been purposely hitting players for who knows what reason. So he is also a dirty player.

Shaq: This guy is amazing. He has the power, strength and will power to carry this team on his back! Literally. lol jkjk But he has had the experience in the league and he has improved greatly with his free throws. Most definitely he is a legend.

Dwayne Wade: This guy is the next Michael Jordan. He is just amazing. But he is not fully experienced. Experience is very important in the NBA. He is not selfish with the ball but he knows when to drive in the hole.

Tim Duncan: I would call this guy the "Professor of the Post." He can put up a hook shot like it's nothing. He is very self-critical and humble. He is a very quiet man who isn't very boastful. He is also experienced in the league. Tim, Manu Ginobili, and Tony Parker are the ones carrying the Spurs. But I believe i would label Tim Duncan a the one with the mark of greatness.

TIM DUNCAN

You list a lot of team accomplishments and awards that are gifts. Stats also tell just part of the story.

Wade is young still, will still need to prove.
Kobe has ruined himself.
Shaq got away with murder in LA, stole his title ring last year with three straight home games in the Finals.

Winner: Tim Duncan. Better college player than Shaq. Has played for USA. Won titles with more class. More higher quality, more intelligent human being than Shaq. Plays with skills Shaq will never possess.

Why would you say he sucks if 75% of the people say he is the only one that could be better than MJ! Shaq may lead more in your little inaccurate stat sheet, but he is done with and Kobe has 12 more years to play and he is still better than anyone in the league now. I don't care much for Kobe hatters, but at least think things through before you open your mouth. Know what your talking about and I would respect you more.

as far as greatness goes, u go with shaq. he has more titles and has done much to improve his game and help promote the game.

but as far as being the greatest at their respective position...tim duncan could probably be the greatest pf to ever play the game when its all said and done. he has the stats, the rings...and he got all those at a relatively early age. plus he did all those things as the leader of his team..

as great as shaq and kobe are (wade is still too young to be put in that class of truly great IMO) they most likely will not be considered the greatest at their position.

Shaq he could go down as one of the top 5 centers of all time. his only true blemish throughout his whole was when he was in his second year Hakeem destroyed him in the final series Magic vs. Rockets. U could say free throws but Wilt was a terrible free throw shooter.

Hell no, I don't need ur stupid statistics to know who better. Kobe is better than all of them, especially Shaq. Kobe doesn't suck, Shaq sucks!!!
