It seems to be that way for me. I try to be nice and end up coming in last most of the time.
But maybe being nice will deserve the best prize: getting to be with you.

From my experience nice guys always finish last, especially in love

No, nice guys do just fine :-) The nice guys are the ones who win over the years. They're the ones who are trusted and respected. They're the ones who come out ahead because they were decent and stable. They have people who love, respect and look up to them.
