any loan company that asks for money up front would make me think they were a bit dodgy. if you need a loan go to a well known finance company. if you are unemployed it will be difficult, but companies like provident and greenway will give unsecured loans. the interest is high but the repayment amounts can be reasonable.

No I don't know the individual... but ask yourself this question.... if you are looking for a loan and he needs you to send him money upfront..who really needs the loan you or him.... sounds like the classic scam. I am sure there must be a registry for such a loan facility otherwise ask your local authorities and let them advise you.

Do not go for this, its a scam 100%.
I did something last month and ended up getting an inland revenue cheque for 15,ooo pounds.
It was hand written so straight away I knew it was dodgy.
They wanted part of the money from this cheque and I was to keep the rest for myself but they needed it quickly and before the cheque would have cleared, so they wanted me to use my own money.
Yeah right.
I was so curious about these quick money schemes i thought I would try.
Some people probably fell for it.

Do a yahoo search

"Scam baiting" and read up on the passtime of scam baiting, you'd want to do this just for a good laugh.

But never under any circumstances send any money.

although i dont know this man please steer well clear at these interest rates the only money he will make is that which is sent to him. from your question this is without doubt a scam why would anyone who is need of a loan send money first. if you go ahead you will need a bigger loan to recoup the money you have gifted mr. walters.
forget it

Don't be so pathetic - if you need a loan, then you don't have money to send to a loan company !

Wake up - it's a SCAM.

The interest rate can never be less than the Bank Base Rate.
