1. All primary elections will be held on the same day, no earlier than the first Tuesday in November.

2. The top two vote getters (if neither has a majority) for any office have a runoff in November.

3. You cannot discuss what you expect your opponent to do. You can only tell what you would do.

4. You cannot discuss what your opponent has done and neither can he/she. If it wasn't important enough for people to know already then it's irrelevant.

5. No candidate can tell you what party affiliation he/she is. We are all Americans first and party affiliation is very misleading and should be of no consequence after the election is complete. Elected officials will no longer have a (d) or (r) before or after their name. Regardless of who voted for you, you still have to represent ALL the people.

6. Party affiliation will not be indicated on the ballot. You aren't voting for a party. You are voting for a person. Know who you are voting for.

Primaries are meaningless. They are nothing more than private polls conducted among the members of an organization to determine who the organization is going to endorse. Primaries should be eliminated entirely.

Other than that, it looks like a good start.

I just want to know this. What is their plan for fighting terror? I assume they will repeal the Patriot Act, eliminate data mining, make law enforcement get court orders for wire taps. What will we do with the terrorist we capture after closing Gitmo? Will they be tried in court? How will we gather evidence and witnesses?
