Some of the more famous ones are: laps, 6 AM practices, running bleachers, no post-game food (Tony Larussa's favorite). Why not just fine them?

Wow. Everybody else seems to have such tough coaches. My badminton team hasn't lost a game yet so we haven't been punished. But I think we might lose our next game and then we'd have to run laps afterwards. But only a mile. :D

On the JV Basketball team at my school my coach made us run 17s (from one sideline to the other 17 times) for 10 minutes straight without a water break...we won the next game lol.

After losing a huge game, I had a coach who cried. It was the most crushing thing I could have every imagined. He couldn't even look at us...just walked away. Man, that still hurts.

In terms of physical punishment, my soccer coach made us do half-field, back, full-field back sprints until we physically could not go on. I think it was something like 15 times, maybe more. Our bodies stopped working. I've never thrown up from running, but that was the only time I literally could not continue. Coaches are wonderful people!

i play varsity bball and we have to do happy hour if we lose. happy hour takes place after a 2 hour practice and we run bleachers for an hour. we have to do two stairs at a time or hop on 1 foot. or move backward up the stairs. it sucks

We had to run wind sprints after the game for every penelty we had during the game. Win or lose. Our field or theirs. Very embarassing!!!

some coaches can just say "I'm very dissappointed" and it hurts worse than any physical punishment..
