urinary tract infection. let me tell u from personal experience, it is not fun. it hurts so bad. it's caused by bacteria trapped in the urethra so that when u go to the bathroom, u have a burning sensation down there. guys and girls can get it. the most common way for girls to get it is not going to the bathroom after sex. when u get UTI, u have to go to the doctor so they can prescribe u a medicine. ur urine turns a different color, usually a bright reddish orange color, but it's normal. and u need to drink lots of cranberry juice, that also help prevent UTI.

An infection in the urinary tract caused by the invasion of disease-causing micro-organisms, which proceed to establish themselves, multiply, and produce various symptoms in their host.

Infection of the bladder, better known as cystitis, is particularly common in women, mainly because of the much shorter urethra, which provides less of a barrier to bacteria.

In men, infection is usually associated with obstruction to the flow of urine, such as prostate gland enlargement
