I often do when flying for business. On many airlines, a first class seat is not that much more than a full fare, unrestricted coach seat. Since many of my trips are not planned out far ahead, I just book the first class seat. It's so much nicer up front.

My whole unit was bumped up to first class on a long Atlantic flight once. Had an absolute blast. We made so much noise that the pilot told us to shut up. He had to, the stewardess's were partying with us. Oh, the memories....

Yeah, a few times. Great leg room, I can actually sit comfortably in those seats!
Did you know that all seats in airplanes are supposed to be like they are in the First Class area? It's just that airlines pull out the original seats and put in these garbage ones to make sure they can pack the aircraft to the gills to make it cheaper to do the flight.

yes, occasionally it is a nice change from coach, depending on where you are flying. When my mom passed away last year, it was nice to be able to sit and have the privacy I needed during that flight, and be ready to comfort my family when I arrived. There are times when First Class Flying has it's benefits.

yes for a full 45 minutes! It was amazing , you get comfy chairs and real glasses to drink out of . You also see all the snooty business travelers pretending to not be impressed working feverishly on thier laptops and acting like there's just not enough time in the day .

once was bumped..it was awesome. our original flight was overbooked. the airlines asked if anyone was willing to give up their seats. i pushed my hubby out of his chair to give our seats up. the gave us first class tickets to fly the next day home, vouchers for dinner and breakfast the next day and accomodations at the hotel near the airport.
i felt like a queen during the hour flight. :-)

Oh, I did it the no longer hassle-free way. ignored our flight with the help of 10 minutes being dumb. Paid $one million Thousand money extra to get residing house. You get a heat meal, with textile napkins, glasses, china, valuable snug seats, leg room. there grew to become into lots of ingesting occurring, yet i do no longer comprehend if a number of that grew to become into comp or paid. The nutrition grew to become into nonetheless "air airplane nutrition." Having room to stretch out grew to become into great. Attentive service, too. might I do it back at that value, i do no longer comprehend.
