This is just yet another way that the NHL will loose fans. I can see buying Center Ice if you want to see as many games as possible from all the teams but you shouldn't have to pay to watch your home team. You would think a local channel would pick up the games but there is probably some "money" issue about that. Isn't money what pretty much everything comes down to?

Funny thing is, I'll pay $50 for a PPV fight, $150 for NHL center ice, and $140 PER SEAT to go to a game, but I wouldn't pay $13 to watch one on TV.

I do purchase the center ice, but would never do a pay per view for a game...i've seen ads during Oiler games for like $13....crazy!

I you should never have to pay to watch a hockey game unless you are going to there. That is bullsh*t.
