If so, who would be willing to do it.

If he were someone would have made the deal already.

Turner is good, but there really just isn't any team out there that can afford a 1st and 3rd round pick. Teams would be better suited to try and trade up and take Peterson in the draft, he is probably about Turner's equal, but younger.

I think the Texans would be dumb enough to do it and give him $6 million a year to top it off!! Like Matt Schaub, Mike Turner hasn't proven he can be a starting runningback in this league. If the Chargers can get a 3rd round or better pick for him they definitely should take it. There's always plenty of backs available in the draft who can run with the ball, blocking they may not be so good at though.

are people stupid? Kenny Irons isn't even close to the talent to Turner. Turner is big and strong. And faster than any other RB. Plus he has moves. Hasn't anyone watched him play at all? He will be a special RB in this league. He is a good blocker because they use 2 back sets and he blocks for L.T. he catches the ball well too. He is worth a 1st and 3rd. the chargers would like to keep him but know he will be gone after this year via F.A. they want something in return and are asking alot because they know what he can do.a team w/ 2 1st rounders will trade for him. And if the pats trade one of there 1st rounders to get LB Al wlson like people are saying, then denver could trade one of the 1st rounders and there 3rd for "burner" turner. He would be better in denver than Portis was.

Running Backs come and go......look at Denver:nobodys can rush for 1000 yards. The real value is in the draft. Although Michael Turner has pro expirience, he does not offer the limitless possibilities of jamarcus russell, calvin johnson, or any sure first rounders. Really, if a decent running back like kenny irons from auburn is still around in the third, he is similar in talent grade to turner

God no. Ladanian Tomlinson is barely worth a 1st and 3rd round pick. I don't know if you've noticed from all the trades, but RBs are barely worth anything in the NFL.

For example, the Jets traded the 37th pick in the draft and got Thomas Jones AND the 60th pick in the draft. Thomas Jones, a pretty talented RB, is only worth a difference of 23 picks.

On the other hand, good WRs are worth a ton. The Pats got a 1st round pick for Deion Branch, and the Pats had to give up a 2nd and 7th rounder for Wes Welker.

So basically, there probably isn't any RB in the league who is really worth a 1st and 3rd round pick.

No. If a team needs a RB, they could use the 1st round pick to draft one of similar quality and still have the 3rd round pick for another player.

No, maybe just the 3rd round pick. The guy has potential but what has he actually done? Nothing really. You don't give up a 1st and a 3rd for that.

No, not a first rounder. Maybe a 2nd round, a deal similar to Thomas Jones would be possible though. I like Turner I think he would be worth it.

No. Very few players are worth that much.
