Don't tell them. There really is no reason, and it will not get a favorable opinion. I would leave it as vague as possible.
In the end, its your decision, and whatever you are most comfortable with.

I normally wouldn't tell a sole because I see it as the easy way out. Not that doing that is easy, just not hard to get into. BUT you travelled the world doing it so you MUST have some interesting stories. It doesn't sound like you were just some scuzzy dive bar stripper. That is admirable in it's own little way. I don't know how your friends and family feel about that profession so based on that i'd use my best judgement. Also, if you're gonna tell some, you have to tell them all because they're going to find out sooner or later.

First of all no one has the authority to judge anyone. Who are they? There not God and they are not perfect, none of us are perfect. So get the "judge me" mentality out. Secondly why were you stripping? To pay for college, to try it out, for the attention or what? It all depends on what your motives were behind your stripping decisions. I mean I would look at it from this point of view, you got to travel the world and strip most strippers don't get to do that. I feel that you should have been honest with them from the get go but since that not an option now is the time to be open and honest and convey all of your skeletons. Good luck!

If youre ashamed of it, then you dont have to tell the truth. But if your proud of what youve done, and i would be if i were you, then why not. Be confident and just tell them you had a lot of fun. If youre ready to settle down then mention that too. You travelled the world, and that is so cool. You had a once in a life time opportunity, and thats nothing to be ashamed of. If they want to judge you then just show them what a cool chick you are and they will see through that. Good luck!

i hate to say this, but they probably will judge you. the very fact that they would know that you bare all for a living will color thier perceptions to you. lead them to see you as a sexual object and not a person. or they will be disgusted toward you and ask how you could do that to yourself. probably the men would see you as the former and the women will see you as the latter. i say keep it a secret, as long as you don't work that town. if you do, let them get to know you first as a person and then tell them the truth. this probably isn't the best advice but it is the best i could come up with. good luck!

sure. in case you do no longer now it ought to come out later interior the courting and he will never have confidence you. in case you tell him now it could take him a on a similar time as to recover from the belief yet a minimum of he will comprehend which you instructed him the actuality. assure him it became a factor of your previous (no rely if it incredibly is). And if he nevertheless would not prefer to proceed the courting he won't be extremely worth it. you prefer somebody who will love you unconditionally, you probably did no longer do something unlawful.. He could be nicer than you think of once you tell him and actually savor your honesty.

Who cares if they judge you? If they do, you can figure out who is worth your time, and who isn't.
Tell the truth. Always tell the truth. Good people are more likely to judge you because you lied than if you took your clothes off for money (which, by the way, is a lucrative career choice, and I see nothing wrong with it).

trust me as a former topless dancer myself,if you have to lie to people who are supposed to be your friends then they are not the right friends, you should be able to confide in your friends about anything even if you murdered the president, your fiance has no problems and neither does your family,i suggest finding new friends.

If they judge you then they are not your friends anyway. Why be ashamed of what you do, be proud. I would be honest because you're making a living the best way you know how. You just don't want them to find out and you've lied to them. Be comfortable and proud of what you are doing.

tell them you were a dancer for professionals its a smidget of a white lie but its not as bad as a topless dancer. Tell him you do back up dancing for singers.
No its none of their business tell them you were getting yourself together its none of their business unless you want to open yourself up to ridicule and them looking at you at less value than what you are.
