Yes, it is. Especially if you did not use any lubrication or if the condom was not lubricated. Queefs (slang term) are just air that was trapped during sexual intercourse, being expelled. The unfortunate thing is that this is not controllable as "farts" are since you can hold back a fart.
They can be a little embarrassing especially if your friend or her partner are younger or less experienced.
I would suggest your friend use some K-Y jelly (lubricant) or a lubricated condom next time. That should help if she's embarrassed by this occurrence.

Yes, it is perfectly normal to queef after sex. If you do not like this, ask your partner to slow down and to try to keep himself inside of you.
