Looking at your team I must say that I am quite impressed. It is obvious to me that you must be very experienced and possess a great deal of baseball savvy. Your team is among the finest that I have seen this season and I commend you on your choices.
You have assembled a team with a great mix of speed and power, as well as a very solid pitching staff. Although there may be some injury concerns, the depth that you have built into this team is extraordinary. You appear headed to victory and a very satisfying season.
If you haven't done so, I suggest that you look into the possibility of making this more than a hobby. You certainly have some keen insights on the way a baseball team is assembled.
Good Luck

Team looks very good. If anything, I would try and trade Mussina now for another starter and a solid hitter. Mussina has good rank based off last year so you can trick people into taking a pitcher starting on a decline. Based on Zito's rankings, he might not be a bad trade. Then get yourself a solid hitter to be a Util because you could improve on Teahen. But I think you will be more than satisfied to keep your team as is.

After 3rd response:
To say Zambrano and Mussina are his only good pitchers is insane. Weaver is one of the top young arms and Lackey puts up decent numbers each year. How many teams in his leaugue do you think have that many solid players?

Here's my quantity one mystery. Ready? Put RP's within the P slot as good as within the RP slot. Why? Because you not often have greater than 2 humans commencing on any given day, relievers pitch often part the time, and so they submit WAY higher numbers than pitchers. Your pitching is first rate total...yet another factor I cherish to do is have minimum bench hittesr (I'd mostly preserve one or 2 to your case) and feature a ton of starters, to insure that I get plenty of begins (which means extra wins). Of direction, do not select up a crappy starter for the sake of getting one. Also, as a prospect I'd select up Wes Littleton...do not positioned him in any pitching responsibility but, he is both gonna be a beast or a bust (he is an RP). Let's take a appear at batting... Ramon Hernandez is an OK alternative at catcher, however is Mike Piazza to be had? He nonetheless counts as a catcher, however is a DH so he'll have first-class numbers. If you desire to sacrifice somewhat vigor and get a better common, Russell Martin of the Dodgers will hit round .three hundred this 12 months. Or if you happen to desire vigor, however no common, David Ross would hit nearly 25-30 HR, with a .250 avg. Berkman is quality in the beginning base, mostly the 3rd or fourth quality one available in the market. Nice vigor numbers. Keep Iguchi in case Kinsler will get injured, or proves himself now not that quality certainly (he's nonetheless unproven), however i might begin him. Glaus is lovely well for 3rd, Reyes mostly second quality man for fable this 12 months. Good steals, prime common, and a few vigor, he has all of it. Rios is my guy...i hope for a five class famous person this 12 months, he surely has the expertise. Great at usually the whole lot. Bay is well, higher than Dye, he's going to do well and Delmon Young is a quality younger prospect, guess you did not ought to use a prime select on him some thing tenth circular or beneath used to be a thieve for him. I'd positioned Overbay in Teahan's situation for software...he hit .312 final 12 months with 22 HR and virtually one hundred RBI. Pretty well crew total although, perhaps a 3rd situation conclude?

Ummm psst, just cause wrestling is fake, doesn't mean it's considered a fantasy sport. He posted his question in the RIGHT place.

Now for the team.
Decent, although I do wonder how well Delmon is going to do. Personally I think he's going too high in drafts. Anywho ..... Halfway decent SP's. Iguchi is hurt right now, Isn't Roberts in a senior citizens home?? Your bench lacks something. Power for one, as does your entire outfield save for Bay.

Overall I would give it a 7.5 out of 10. You have decent hitting with Reyes and some pop with Bay and Berkman but you have a pretty shallow pitching staff. Zambrano and Mussina are good, but you dont have any other good pitchers. I wouldnt expect to finish higher than 4th in your league.
