Law makers are busy making laws, but do laws ever get officially removed, or do the law books keep getting bigger and bigger?

Yes, laws can be "repealed." The other thing that happens is that particular sections of the "code" are "amended." So the new law strikes out, adds to, or changes words in the present law.
The actual pieces of legislation remain (so you can see what each legislative body did each session) but those "slip laws" are archived away. Most of the time people just consult the official "code," which is an organization of those slip laws. And as I said, laws do get "repealed" or "amended" in the code.

There are a lot of laws with time limits. For example, the Patriot Act, which had to be renewed after 4 yrs.
Amendments can be removed also, just look at the 18th and 21st.

40-50 years ago, Martin Luther King Jr got a whole LOTTA laws removed.

No, the can be repealed, like the laws against spitting on the street or tying your horse to a parking meter.

yeah they do, BUT they do continue to make more laws. Some of these stupid laws, like in Massachussetts- Snoring is prohibited unless all bedroom windows are closed and securely locked.
Those kinds of laws are stupid. dumblaws.com have a bunch of em.

VERY rare. They just keep adding to the law book to keep everyone confused. That way, if you prove your way out of one thing, they can bust you on something else.

laws can expire or be repealed - unless they relate to taxing citizens- those seem to never go away!

haha yeahh... those are SOO annnoying!! i dont get the factor of them besides......... yet heavily dude. dont tell no physique. im too youthful to die!! i wanted to be certain DISNEY international!!! :'(
