Guppy's are pregnant for between 28 and 30 days depending on the species. Giver take a day or two either way.
Look at the rear of the underbelly of your female, you'll see a dark spot. That spot will grow as the pregnancy progress, and as she comes closer to her delivery date it will start to take on a square shape.
When she's ready to give birth she may stop eating completely, or begin trying to eat everything in sight, and most likely will stay near the bottom of the tank.
You'll know she's in labor when you see her darting back and forth and making really sharp turns, she's doing this to try and force the babies out. But most likely you'll not witness this because they tend to give birth in the hours right before dawn, as other fish are much less likely to notice the fry in very dim light.
Hope this helps.

Ok first, don't panic... ok now, you should go to the nearest pet store. But dont buy another tank like I'm sure a lot of people are going to suggest. Get a small breeding tank that floats on top of the tank you already have. They are small, cheap, and hold the mother while she is pregnant. When the fry are born, take the mother out and keep the fry in so they aren't eaten by the other fish. Then when they are older and big enough so as not to be eaten, you can release them in your tank. Hope this helps!!

You can tell when she has a swelling larger than normal. Also, she will have a small marking on her underbelly that gradually grows as she goes further into her pregnancy, and will eventually cover her whole underside when she is a bout to give birth. Taking care of the fry, though, you should bpwder up some flakes or you can feed them baby brine shrimp. also make sure you have plenty of dense enough shrubbery for the fry to hide in or you will have missing fry. Another way to save them is to transfer them to another tank and maintain them there keeping sure that the water is cycled or you may end up with dead fish. Hope this helps.
P.S. You could give the ones you don't want or if you find them overwhelming because you don't have enough tank space for them give them to your local fish shop. They might take them in for you.

Use the florescent easy bulbs. in case you employ one 6 hours an afternoon. the old type burns 60 watts, the hot 15 watts. it incredibly is a reductions 40 5*6*30/one thousand= 8 Kw/hrs a month or approximately 40 two cents.which will pay for the sunshine bulb in 3-6months. in case you have 10 easy bulbs it incredibly is $3 a month.

often female fish will be larger than thier male counterparts and the belly will swell very large when they are carrying eggs. Guppies are live bearers though (the young are born out of the eggs), so just watch your tank for babies.

you don't really need to do anything. The female is best left alone. She will have try to hide when she has her babies, and the fry will hide in plants and caves until they are bigger. The adult guppies will eat some, but if there is sufficient hiding room, some will live

if your guppy is pregnant you will see a dark spot near her anus. to care for her you either need to remove her from all the other fish or put her in a breeding chamber. breeding chambers can be bought at any fish store. i also would suggest getting baby fish food called "first bites"
good luck and congrats ahead of time ;-]

put the female in a tank by her self and after she has the babie take her out or she will eat them. the babies will eat flake food just like the adults just make sure and crush it so they can eat it cuz they are really really small. and no pumps that they babies can get sucked into.
good luck.
