In the NHL it has been a rare thing for a goalie to score a goal. What I mean is when the goalie himself scores, not just credited with it because they were the last ones to touch the puck. The NHL list is:

Ron Hextall (1 season, 1 playoff)
Chris Osgood
Martin Brodeur (1 season, 1 playoff)
Jose Theodore (he did it on accident)
Evgeni Nabokov

other NHL goalies credited with goals:
Chis Mason
Billy Smith (1st ever)
Damian Rhodes

Yes!!! An NHL goalie, whose name escapes me at the moment, in the seventies, scored at least twice while clearing the puck over the heads of the players at the end of the game into an empty net. Rick Charron comes to mind, but I'm not sure!!!!

Yep....I saw the goalie for the Los Angeles team in the 70s score once. It was a full length slap shot, and the other team had pulled their goalie. Very cool !

Saw Hextall score (twice) on TV. Saw a junior B goalie score once live.

Yep - I was there to see Nabby score a power play goal against Vancouver at GM Place - March 10, 2002.

It was fantastic!

yes Ron Hextall scored not once but twice in regular season and once in the play offs. For the Flyers and Patric Roy did it once for Colorado and Kirk Mclean hit the post once in preseason there has been some but not alot.
