Some girl just asked a question " Are you sick and tired of blacks ruining our country"?

Why do they even let people ask questions like that?
Im black and I took offense to that because it is hard being a black female growing up, and to hear people say that lets me know that racism will never die! What do you think?

I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE MAKE RACIST COMMENTS ABOUT ANY RACE BUT ESPECIALLY BLACKS(being that i'm a black female myself). it sometimes makes me angry because we have come a long way and had worked so hard to prove to this country that we're just as good as anyone else but some still don't acknowledge our accomplishments and still don't respect us. i know hearing things like that hurts and makes you angry but the best thing for you to do is not let it get to you. that just comes to show you how ignorant some people can be. it's a shame and sad.

freedom of speech is what it is. if the remark is rascist you do not have to retort with rascism but reason, though it is obvious that a rascist lacks logical reasoning. this country the usa is built on rascism, and thrives on rascism. most celebrities you admire are rascist. is calling black people black rascist or descriptive? ther is afine line. you as a black woman should not be offended ,if you are then it is the reason why it is hard for you as a black female growing up. you have been a victim of whit e schooling ,and probably religion. read the slave codes, and you might not have such ahard time but a hard realisation. that nothings changed except the appearances of non rascism in the americas. rascism won't die as long as there are whites (kkk, masons, politicians, teachers, clergy) who still dispense the garbage that is the standard.

As a Black woman who grew up around the world (military, political, and business reasons) I am just grateful to live in this country where my rights are protected. If the words hurt BAD enough, and you can legally prove DAMAGE - SUE the ignorant folks... if the words don't hurt just upset you... move on... such people do more damage to themselves by displaying their ignorance.

Chin up, my friend, it's tough out here for everyone in some way or another... so consider what it takes to all get along not to all get it on.

Racisim is about the individual, not the culture, country or current fad. So long as there will be free thinking people, there will be racist.
Globally, we just need to deal with it when it raises it's ugly little pointed head.

well as far as why they let people ask those questions, it's because there is no one monitoring what questions are asked, which is a really good thing. Prior restraint is never good!

And when people dooo ask questions like that, they are pretty much guaranteed to get a huuuge negative reaction. Free debate helps people see truth.

You just have to ignore the sick jerks. The way I see it, the world is getting much more open-minded, but we're still a long way from perfect. Narrow-minded racists are just...well, stupid (and narrow-minded =).

The girl is small minded. I doubt she would make a statement like that in real life in front of others. Maybe she experienced some sort of prejudice in her own life and now she is projecting it on others. What kind of question is THAT????

Why?Freedom of speech!Same reason almost all black leaders get away with trashing whitey. In fact,in the mainstream media it is only blacks that get away with racist diatribe.Whites lose their careers over racial slurs.
