Theres nothing wrong with it, I've upgraded it quite a lot too, made it really fast with loads of added RAM, loads of hard drive spaceand extra external hardrive, looks like new still and Bose speakers...

How would I sell it? Is it worth selling it? It's a Dell Dimension

Look on ebay for similar items then youll know how much its worth. Try and put adverts in colleges or universities as students are always after cheap Pc's.

Good luck.

Have a look on ebay under completed items for one similar to yours. That will give you an idea. If it was apackard bell you would be better off taking everything out of it and scrapping the rest. Just done that to my 3 year old machine. Made it into an external hard drive and the memory's going on ebay

why would you want to sell it if its good? keep it for yourself. But if you realy want to sell, make a rough estimate of its price by adding up the CURRENT prices of all individual components, including the operating system and any other vital programs if you are also going to sell that too. Depending on how much it is used, decrease the price. If you have used it for like two year, then divide price by two i guess.... unless its a very powerful pc, in which case sell it al three quarters of the estimated price. keep in mind that a second hand computer is very quick to depreciate

You don't say how old the computer is ?
in the shops to day,, you can buy a brand new computer for around £500 with the latest software installed like vista,
so why should anyone want to buy a second hand PC with out of date software and other components,, just not worth it these days to buy second hand when for a few pounds more you can buy a nice new one,so to me your computer which you want to sell is "worthless" take care.

I never buy second hand computers. With how fast technology gets out dated now a days it is absolutely worthless to buy anything used. If you are going to sell it though don't expect anything more than $150. Maybe more with the speakers

If you need the money , then sell . If it does everything you need it to do and you just want to upgrade, then it's not worth it . Computers are like cars. They depreciate and usually are worth more to the owner ( because of the use you can give them , than the buyer)

If you want to sell Try e-bay. You can set the min. price you will accept

you would need to be more specific-- loads of ram doesnt quite cut it. Anyone with a credit card can order parts off of newegg.com and build a decent computer for less then $400

You can probably sell it for around 200 to 250 dollars.

Or try searching on ebay just to see what its going for

Do a search of completed items on ebay and you will find out.
It will be less than $600 and more than $150.

check mout ebay, type in the computer and see how much its going for- or type in the type of things it has and see how others similar are going for.

You could also try asking dell or seeing how much thiers sell for- if they have any brand new or reconditioned.

also look in loot at loot.com
