I've had this happen to me ever since I was a little kid. What is this phenomenon?

probably transference ... it reminds you of some early experience ... maybe even as a baby .. of someone that was calm in a sea of storm around you perhaps.

be aware of it ... and dont let someone sucker you into a crazy love relationship just becuase they speak calmly (though its an admirable quality to require anyway)

probably a freudian feeling of being confortable around a person who is calm around you- a type of parent-stranger phenomenon. Or it could be a psychic thing...

you have to be a little more specific but you might be extra sensitive. or it will kinda give you the chills when someone does that I don't know why it's just a wierd thing.
